Diddy and Sean John Buy Enyce Clothing Label
Late last week Sean “Diddy” Combs and his Sean John clothing line acquired competitor Enyce from Liz Claiborne.
Sean John paid a cool $20 million for the urban clothing line, a huge discount considering Liz Claiborne paid $114 million for the brand just five years ago. Still, the depreciation in value that Enyce has seen doesn’t seem to faze Combs who plans to aggressively market and grow the fledgling company.

Finally, Marc Ecko Rolls Out Limited Edition Star Wars Line
First announced in March, Marc Ecko has finally released a few items from his Limited Edition Star Wars line. Maybe I’m just a geek about this kind of thing, but isn’t this hoodie about as cool as it gets…

These items are selling out pretty fast, but you can back order them through the official Marc Ecko site, shopecko.com. Definitely worth checking out…
Russell Simmons Launches New Line: Argyle Culture
Starting in the early 1990s, Russell Simmons brought hip-hop style to the masses with his Phat Farm clothing line. It was a huge success within the urban community, paving a path for a multitude of street inspired lines to follow.
That said, some of us have outgrown the look of baggy jeans and oversized tees, and it seems Simmons has too. After selling his Phat Farm line in 2004, Simmons is launching a new line named Argyle Culture.
Simmons told the AP, “I want to create a line to reach out to those guys who are not young men anymore but who still want to be part of that urban lifestyle.”
The new line rolled out recently at a fashion show in South Beach, FL. The line will feature sporty suits, pinstriped shorts, v-neck sweaters and other “preppy” looks that cater to the 25-and-over male.
Diddy Looks To Update Rat Pack In New Ciroc Ad
As most of you already know, Sean John founder Sean “Diddy” Combs recently entered into a deal with Circoc Vodka to help manage and expand awareness of the brand.
He’s already starred in a number of commericals, but this one has a bit of that Diddy magic going for it as he chanels Frank Sinatra in a Rat Pack update. Check it out below…
Master P. Sued By Pepe Jeans
This one seems a little crazy to me…
Pepe Jeans has sued Percy Miller (aka Master P.), claiming that his new P. Miller Designs features a “circle P” logo that infringes on their own trademark. Pepe Jeans also went after Wal-Mart in the lawsuit, the primary retailer for Miller’s new, low-cost clothing line.
Miller claims he will be filing a counter-suit against Pepe Jeans and the retailers they partner with.
Rocawear “9IX” Commercial Launch
Rocawear just released a new commercial for their “9IX” men’s fragrance. It should hit the airwaves in time for the holiday season, but I’m guessing it’ll spread like fire online long before that ’cause the model is blazing. See for yourself…
